About

Embedded systems & edge-AI — wired in Montreal

RoboCircuit is a robotics-AI consultancy that closes the circuit between sense, compute and act. We are engineers who have spent years on benches and plant floors — tuning control loops, integrating LiDAR drivers and watching edge models throttle when reality disagrees with the datasheet.

What "RoboCircuit" means

"Robo" is applied robotics — cobots, AMRs, manipulators and industrial automation stacks, not sci-fi humanoids or sentient-machine storytelling. "Circuit" is the closed control loop and embedded real-time circuit between sensors, compute and actuators — not a racing track, not an electrical hobby-kit shop, and not synthcircuit.life or any unrelated "circuit" product. The .pro domain is branding only.

We are a robotics engineering studio serving the Canadian market and North American clients. We design, prototype, integrate and help deploy AI-driven robotic systems for manufacturers, warehouses, logistics firms and hardware scale-ups — with senior robotics engineers supervising every significant deployment step.

Our district

Suite 102 at 3550 Saint-Jacques Street sits in the St-Henri–Little Burgundy maker corridor — a low-rise creative-tech and light-industrial strip where machine shops, fabrication studios and engineering firms neighbour coffee roasters and design workshops. Greater Montreal's manufacturing base is minutes away by autoroute; our bench is close enough to your floor for same-day hardware sessions when urgency demands it.

How we work

RoboCircuit is deliberately small. Project teams combine embedded-systems leads, control engineers and perception specialists — no account managers buffering you from the people who read oscilloscope traces. Discovery is honest about feasibility; we will tell you when simulation alone will not de-risk a deployment, when human-in-the-loop supervision must remain permanent, and when your timeline assumes bench conditions the floor will not provide.

We do not fabricate credentials, awards or partner badges. We do not claim relationships with NVIDIA, Boston Dynamics, ABB or any vendor unless a specific engagement contract permits disclosure. Our reputation rests on shipped integrations — torque loops that stopped hunting, AMR stacks that met deadlines after cable reroutes, edge inference that survived motion once thermals were respected.

Responsible robotics values

Functional safety and risk assessment are not footnotes. We align work with ISO 10218 and CSA expectations, support lawful non-weapon and non-covert-surveillance use only, and refuse projects that treat human oversight as optional. The sim-to-real gap is real; robots mis-perceive; systems fail. We engineer for those truths instead of marketing past them.

What we are not

To be explicit: RoboCircuit is not a robot retail store or reseller. We do not build military, defence or autonomous-weapons systems. We do not sell courses, bootcamps or income-opportunity programmes. We are not a general LLM consultancy, a SaaS product you sign up for, or a legal or safety-certification authority. If you need robots in a box, weapons-grade autonomy or a certificate stamped without site work, we are the wrong studio.

If you need embedded edge AI, real-time control, ROS 2 integration and engineers who will sit on your floor until the loop closes — we should talk.
